Copra Meal

✔    Copra meal, or coconut meal, is an important feed ingredient and the by-product of the oil extraction from dried coconut kernels (copra).

✔    Copra itself is usually too expensive to use as an animal feed, though it has been fed to pigs and poultry with good results. As copra oil contains only small amounts of unsaturated fatty acids, its consumption leads to firm body fat and good flavour.
