Pulleys

✔    Pulleys are used to change the direction of an applied force, transmit rotational motion, or realize a mechanical advantage in either a linear or rotational system of motion.

✔     The advantage is that in exchange for very little effort, difficult tasks can be completed.

✔    Pulleys have miscellaneous uses such as lift loads, apply forces, and to transmit power. It is designed to support movement of a cable or belt along its circumference.
